Don't Feed The Algorithm: Issue 005

The algorithm never sleeps, but you don’t have to feed it.

🐊 Editor's Note

Hey there,

Welcome back to another Don’t Feed The Algorithm, your weekly dispatch from Averi — where we explore the intersections of marketing, AI and the future of work.

We’ve all worked with that one coworker who added chaos, not clarity.

Too many tools. Too many check-ins. Not enough doing.

That’s why this week, we’re talking about the AI marketing manager you’d actually want on your team… one that gives you creative flow, not just checklists.

We’re also featuring a tactical breakdown of growth marketing that scales, and the latest tools that can actually make your job easier (not just give you another dashboard to manage).

Because marketing doesn’t need more meetings. It needs more momentum.

Let’s build.

📝 The Good Sh*t

The AI Marketing Manager You Actually Want to Work With

Let's talk about your last marketing hire.

You remember them—the one with the impressive resume and portfolio who talked a big game about strategic thinking and execution.

Three months in, you're still explaining the same brand guidelines, still fixing the same basic errors, and still waiting for them to take initiative instead of requiring step-by-step instructions for every task.

What if, instead of being another employee you have to babysit, AI could be the most reliable, adaptable, and efficient marketing team member you've ever hired?

📺 The Algorithm Could Never

North Face Perfect Influencer Partnership

The North Face’s Perfect Influencer Partnership
This one’s not polished. It’s not scripted. It’s not even trying to be an ad.

A creator pops up out of the water, makes a comment about getting out and getting wet, and casually drops the line: “Ngl imma go buy a North Face now.” That’s it. No call to action. No voiceover. No heavy edits.

Why We Love It:
Because it’s real.

It doesn’t perform relatability—it actually is.

The kind of content that makes you laugh, double-tap, and actually Google the jacket.

This is what brand partnerships look like when you trust creators to do their thing.

It’s lo-fi, human, and miles away from the “perfectly lit influencer reveal” we’ve all learned to scroll past.

🦄 Averi Stories & Startup Spotlight

Paramark: The Generative AI Platform Transforming Ad Performance

Paramark is redefining how brands measure and optimize their advertising efforts. By leveraging generative AI, Paramark provides a platform that quantifies the incremental impact of ad campaigns across various marketing channels. This data-driven approach bridges the gap between marketing and finance teams, enabling more informed budgeting and strategic decisions.

The Backstory: Founded in 2022 by Pranav Piyush, Paramark emerged from stealth mode with a clear mission: to bring clarity and accountability to marketing performance. Recognizing the challenges brands face in attributing sales impact to specific campaigns, Piyush assembled a team to develop a solution that offers precise, actionable insights. The startup has already attracted clients like Square, ClickUp, Speak, and Chime, demonstrating its value in the competitive adtech landscape.

Key Innovation: Paramark’s platform utilizes generative AI to analyze and forecast the sales effects of advertising variations. By quantifying the incremental impact of each campaign, brands can allocate budgets more effectively and optimize their marketing strategies. The platform’s ability to provide clear, data-backed insights sets it apart in a crowded market.

💡Ask Averi

AI + Human Marketing Tip

"Don’t let AI be your voice—let it be your translator."

Write the messy version in your tone. Then prompt AI to make it sharper, clearer, or platform-native.

You stay human. It cleans up the signal.

Strategy You Can Steal

Run a One-Hour “Campaign Comeback” Sprint

Here’s what I’d do if you’ve got a campaign that’s flopping (and we’ve all been there):

  1. Strip it down to the core idea.

  2. Run it through 3 prompts:

    • “Make this 100x more fun.”

    • “Turn this into a meme-worthy hook.”

    • “Translate this for a community that actually cares.”

  3. Pick the best version. Test only that.

You don’t need a total relaunch. You just need to reframe the vibe.

This Week’s Prompt Highlight

The result? A homepage that made visitors feel something before they even knew what it was.

Averi dropped—One line. No jargon. All vibes.
