Don't Feed The Algorithm: Issue 030
The algorithm never sleeps, but you don’t have to feed it.

🐊 Editor's Note
Hey there,
Welcome back to another Don’t Feed The Algorithm, your weekly dispatch from Averi — where we explore the intersections of marketing, AI and the future of work.
We’re entering a new era of marketing — one where “small team” no longer means “small output.”
The truth is, AI didn’t just change what marketers do — it changed what’s possible for one person to achieve.
Strategy, copy, design, media buying, analytics — things that once needed ten different specialists can now live inside one workspace.
But here’s the twist: being a “10x marketer” isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing the right things faster — automating the noise so you can double down on the decisions that actually move the needle.
This week’s feature dives into exactly that — how one person can now do the work of ten without burning out, spreading thin, or feeding the algorithm just for the sake of staying busy.
We’re also sharing five lesser-known AI tools that should already be in your stack — and the SaaS metrics every founder should actually care about heading into 2026 (hint: CAC’s not dead, but LTV is finally getting its respect).
Because marketing’s no longer about scale for scale’s sake.
It’s about leverage — and knowing when to let the machines do their job, so you can do yours.
Let’s build.

📝 The Good Sh*t

The Rise of the 10x Marketer: How One Person Can Now Do the Work of Ten
The traditional marketing team is dead.
While competitors burn through budgets hiring specialists for every function, a new breed of marketer is emerging… individuals who leverage AI and automation to single-handedly execute campaigns that used to require entire departments.
Welcome to the era of the 10× marketer.
One strategically-minded marketer with the right AI systems can now execute multi-channel campaigns, manage content creation, optimize ad spend, and analyze performance across touchpoints that previously required 5-10 specialists.
But here's what most miss… the 10× marketer isn't just using AI tools, they're thinking differently about marketing itself.

🎮 Run This Play

This is where we hand you a ready-made growth move you can drop straight into Averi. No theory, no bs — just execution you can actually launch in minutes.
This week’s play is all about finding your white space — and owning it.
Most brands don’t fail because their product’s bad. They fail because they sound like everyone else.
If your brand story could be copied and pasted onto a competitor’s website, it’s time for a reset.
This play walks you through how to use Averi to define, validate, and operationalize your brand positioning — so every message, campaign, and decision ladders back to who you actually are.
Goal: Build a differentiated, defensible brand positioning that your entire company can align behind.
Outcome: In one week, you’ll go from “we do marketing like everyone else” to “this is what makes us impossible to ignore.”
Play: Craft Your Brand Positioning
1️⃣ Analyze the Market — Ask Averi: “Help me define our brand positioning. Our company: [describe]. Product: [describe]. Customers: [describe]. What we want to be known for: [describe].”
Averi identifies competitors, their strengths, and where they overlap — then reveals your white space.
2️⃣ Define Your Core Positioning — In /create Mode, craft your positioning statement:
“For [target audience] who [have this problem], we are [category] that [unique benefit]. Unlike [competitors], we [key differentiator].”
Refine until it feels true and ownable.
3️⃣ Build Your Brand Framework — Ask Averi to create your brand pillars (3–5 core themes that support your positioning), your value proposition, and key proof points for each pillar.
Save everything to Asset Management → Brand Foundation.
4️⃣ Validate With Experts — Type /intro and connect with a brand strategist. Have them pressure-test your statement: Is it believable? Differentiated? Sustainable?
Integrate feedback → refine again in Averi.
5️⃣ Activate Across Your Company — Share your finalized “Brand Foundation” folder with your team. Use Averi to generate a “How to Use Our Brand Positioning” guide so every department stays aligned.
👉 That’s just the start. Once your brand positioning becomes your filter for every campaign, product, and partnership — consistency turns into compound growth.
🚪Inside Averi
We're the folks behind Averi, the AI Marketing Workspace.
Averi was born from that simple conviction… AI shouldn't replace marketers, it should amplify them.
We didn't set out to just build another AI tool.
We set out to solve a problem we were tired of living with: marketing that moves too slowly, costs too much, and burns too many people out.
We're not here to automate marketers into irrelevance. We're here to help build brands that actually mean something; without sacrificing sanity, team, or weekends.
Every week, we’re pulling back the curtain to share what’s happening inside Averi — from new feature drops to major milestones to stories from the teams (and users) building the future of marketing.
This week’s win:
Averi’s AI Marketing Workspace just crossed 1,000 active projects since launch. 🎉
From startup founders to global marketing teams, thousands of workflows are now running on Averi — proof that when AI and human expertise finally work in sync, marketing doesn’t just get faster… it gets flow.
Stay tuned each week for what’s next. Big things are happening inside Averi.
📺 The Algorithm Could Never
Nike — “You Can’t Stop Us”
When Nike released “You Can’t Stop Us,” it wasn’t a product campaign — it was a masterclass in brand positioning.
The ad stitched together 36 pairs of split-screen clips — athletes of different genders, sports, and backgrounds moving in perfect symmetry. It wasn’t about sneakers. It was about resilience, unity, and identity.
Every frame carried a message: no matter what happens — pandemics, politics, or personal challenges — human determination is unbreakable.
The editing was seamless. The emotion, unmistakably human.
AI could replicate the cuts. It could even write the lines.
But it couldn’t feel the heartbeat that ties them together.
Why We Love It:
Because it’s everything a strong brand positioning should be — consistent, human, and crystal clear in its belief: Nike doesn’t sell products. It sells purpose.
Do we dig it? |

🦄 Averi Stories & Startup Spotlight
Vizard: The AI Video Platform Helping Marketers Repurpose Content at the Speed of Relevance
Vizard is quietly changing how marketing teams keep up with the content treadmill. Instead of spending hours editing clips, resizing videos, or trimming podcasts into social posts, Vizard uses AI to automatically identify highlight moments, format them for every platform, and generate publish-ready versions in minutes.
The Backstory: Founded in 2021 by Tony Shen and a team of ex-ByteDance engineers, Vizard was born out of a frustration most marketers know too well — endless editing cycles that kill creative momentum. Backed by Sequoia and Hustle Fund, the company has become a go-to for B2B, DTC, and creator brands trying to scale short-form content without burning their teams out.
Key Innovation: Vizard’s strength lies in its “context-aware editing” — AI that doesn’t just cut video, but understands why a moment matters. It identifies emotional peaks, quotable lines, and key themes, creating clips that feel intentional, not automated. Users can also fine-tune tone, visuals, and captions to fit their brand’s style — turning long-form storytelling into a frictionless, multi-channel system.
💡Ask Averi
AI + Human Marketing Tip
"Don’t chase productivity. Build leverage."
AI can make you faster — but faster isn’t the same as better.
Most marketers hit a wall because they’re still thinking in terms of tasks, not systems.
They ask: How can I write 10 posts a day? when they should be asking: How can I make one idea scale across ten channels effortlessly?
Strategy You Can Steal
The “Three Layer Leverage” System
The most effective marketers right now aren’t doing more — they’re building layers of leverage that compound over time. Here’s the framework:
Layer 1: Inputs → Systems
Audit your week. Every repetitive workflow (writing briefs, summarizing data, formatting reports) is an automation opportunity. Ask Averi: “Which of my weekly tasks could be systemized or templatized?”
Layer 2: Systems → Execution
Turn those recurring patterns into templates, Plays, or /create Mode projects in Averi. Every finished workflow becomes a reusable engine.
Layer 3: Execution → Compounding
Store everything in Library — campaign learnings, tone calibration, results. That’s institutional memory. The next time you start, you’re not guessing — you’re building on your last win.
You don’t scale by doing more.
You scale by never doing the same thing twice.

This Week’s Prompt Highlight
“Write a campaign concept that feels like a movie trailer for a product launch— dramatic, emotional, and impossible to scroll past.”
Averi users have been getting cinematic lately.
This prompt started as a creative exercise and turned into a full-funnel launch framework. The user asked Averi to script a product launch video like a movie trailer — complete with pacing, tone shifts, and emotional beats — then adapted it into ad copy and social snippets.
Averi gave them a campaign that felt big-budget but cost next to nothing.
